The Sherlocks. Tivoli, Buckley, 25th May 2025

I had been told about the Tivoli as a decent music venue by a couple of friends who had previously been. It is the venue's 100th year of operation in 2025 so it must have been doing something write. So when I saw the Sherlocks were appearing there, I took this as my opportunity to experience it for myself. At £23 for the ticket, even better. The band had come to my attention at the back end of 2024 so I was excited to see them. Turns out they've been around for ages and were preparing to release their 5th studio album around the time of the gig. The night of the gig was the 2nd night of a very eclectic weekend, having been to The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden to watch the ballet - Romeo and Juliet (see separate write up) on the previous day. The Tivoli was on the way home so it was perfect! I was early arriving so, after parking for free in Home Bargains car park next door to the venue, I went to the pub.
